Day 1 of Riot Fest 2017 was AMAZING! We went all out this year and got Deluxe VIP tickets, which allowed us to totally skip the line into the park and we were super comfortable all weekend with open bar and fancy restrooms. We saw Ministry and Sin Quirin tossed a guitar pick at me! I’m pretty sure this is the first time that’s ever happened in my life so I felt like a bit of a fan girl. I wish I could say that I caught it, but I didn’t. He has amazing aim and it hit me and fell at my feet, so I picked it up. (haha) Later we saw Nine Inch Nails and we went to an aftershow at the Cobra Lounge (that only holds like 100 people) to see GBH and they had The Casualties as a surprise opening band. It was an amazing (and exhausting) day and we fell into bed after making our way back to our AirBnB hoping to get enough rest to be in decent shape for Riot Fest day 2.
The outfit: The theme was dragons so I wore my custom, hooded, zip-front dragon-spikes romper from Coquetry Clothing. I wore it with some dragon leggings and a red, grey and black hair piece that I made just for the occasion.
